OK, I agree with all this, but I would like to add some things:

7 or 8 months ago, before Lightwave PC gto out, I enjoyed this mailing list...
It usually had some nice questions about real modelling/texturing/animating
problems and great solutions provided by some gurus or, at least, some nice
ideas from where we could start. I really enjoyed, because I could get ideas
for animations, workarounds for problems that were similar to my own or
solutions that I could apply in identical cases...

I had to quit the net for a while and, one month ago, I came back... To find
that I can't find that useful information anymore!!!

And what do I find?! People complaining about the *INSTALLATION* of the
software, or of some kind of problem originated by the multitude of possible
combinations of systems: WinNT, Win, Win32, Win95 and so on (none of them is
any good anyway).

I am sorry, but THAT'S A SILLY SITUATION... Because most of us, animators,
don't have a master degree in computers, don't even like computers!!! We just
have to USE THEM to do what we like to do, ANIMATE!!! So, computers should be
friendly, plug-&-play, we shouldn't have to worry about the imcompatible IRQ
problems and stuff like that! But that's not the case, is it?!

Now, back to the Amiga?! How many times did someone spend spend half an hour
to install something on it?! I remember that I got my VLab Motion card to work
in less than 15 minutes... No problems at all, everything is still working
fine, it was just plug... and work :) To install Lightwave, I just had to copy
the disks and put the &^%%$& dongle on the parallel port!!! And I don't have
any worries at all when I think in getting a new graphics card, or sound card,
or something else, cause I KNOW there will be NO PROBLEMS...

So, can anyone explain to me why do some of you think that the Amiga is 'too
expensive'?! It may be expensive, but it sure saves your a lot of time and a
lot of white hairs.

So, for all of you that are having problems with getting your animation to
tape, if you have an Amiga, USE IT, if you don't, maybe you should consider
BUYING ONE, you can ony get advanges of it (as a rendering farm, as good plug-
&-play soft/hardware, good preemptive-multitasking, less worries, etc) and you
would contribute to stop the &%^& monopoly of Bill Gates, that is destroying
the computer scene, killing any interactivity user/computer (unless you call
interactivity 'buy more RAM, get a bigger hard drive to put Win98 on it' :-) )

I'm really sorry for all of this, but I would like to learn something from
this list... And I'm not lerning that much!... Stop whinning about the Amiga
being 'too expensive', don't you see it is worth the money when you compare it
with your configuration problems?!
